Position Overview

NIDC is looking for a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills to work in a highly collaborative, positive organizational culture. The position requires an understanding of accounting, bookkeeping budgeting, contracting and auditing. Background in fund accounting helpful but not necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in program, contract, and organization budget processes, including development, modifications, variance, and analysis
• Manage online portal processes
• Oversee Fee-for-Service billing processes and provide monthly P&L analyses
• Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly cash receivable reports
• Conduct bank reconciliations and investigate differences, if any
• Review payroll entries to ensure consistency with program/contract budgets
• Review and analyze credit card usage and ensure allocations to contracts
• Prepare monthly and occasional reports and analyses

General:

• Participate in all external audit preparation
• Participate in special projects and act as an NIDC Ambassador

Key Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3-6 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience required
