Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our home construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in framing residential properties, understand the intricacies of construction, and be able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans for framing residential buildings.
• Measure, cut, and assemble the framing lumber needed to build residential structures.
• Fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter’s level, plumb bob, and laser levels.
• Erect scaffolding, ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
• Work with building materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Framer.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Physical condition and strength to perform hard labor tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter) is a plus.

Work Environment: This job operates on active construction sites and requires frequent use of professional power tools and equipment.

Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items (e.g., lumber) and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours.

• Weekends as needed
