Responsibilities

- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures

- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately

- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records

- Handle insurance eligibility checks and collect copays and due balances

- Conduct basic laboratory tests

- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort

- Understand and follow HIPAA protocol

Qualifications

- Completion of a Medical Assisting program OR prior medical assisting experience required

- CPR certified

- Phlebotomy experience preferred

- Proficiency in medical terminology

- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs

- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient service

- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology

-Bilingual is a bonus
