Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Mental Health Counselor at Neighbors Counseling in Allen, TX. The counselor will be responsible for independetly creating treatment plans, conducting mental health assessments, providing counseling session and managing active clients scheduling.

Qualifications

Creating

• Treatment Plans and Case Conceptualization skills
• Expertise in Counseling with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and various counseling techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Active with clients in a private practice setting or within last two years
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Fully licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or Therapist in Texas

Compensation

• full-time position requires at least 20 clients or more per week on average with a 70% (therapist) _30% (practice)
• accepting insurance is required, and is provided through credentialing with Headway and allows for best insurance reimbursement rate.
• on average fully licensed full-time therapist make between $72,000-$108,000. Year which includes 3 to 4 weeks off.
• position is 1099 contract, and requires paying estimated taxes individually with support and resources from practice for best financial practices.
