Quality Manager
Looking for an Quality Engineer with 2 – 5 years work experience in manufacturing quality. Must have customer interaction skills, both verbal and written, for claims handling as well as a solid quality foundation to drive improvement through RCCA, CAPA, and 8D analysis. This is a great growth opportunity for the right candidate.
The Quality Engineer is responsible for urgently investigating and driving corrective action projects for site complaints and systemic issues. This individual develops and maintains highly effective relationships with all site and commercial team members and customers by communicating frequently and timely. Responsible for implementing product and process improvement initiatives. Drives quality culture throughout site.
Successful candidate will have strong quality foundation (quality methodology, tools, data analytics), experience working directly with customers, manufacturing exposure with continuous operations (web handling and/or coating operations preferred), supervisory skills as you will be responsible for quality technicians, and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization. Chemical Engineering degree preferred but will consider other engineering disciplines as well.
This position is based in South Plainfield, NJ but will also support our other location in Lakewood, NJ.
