Automotive General Manager

Honda of Burlington, part of the Nelson Family Automotive group, is a family-owned dealership in beautiful Skagit County, Washington. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and employee satisfaction and are looking for an energetic, experienced, and innovative General Manager to join our team & take our business to new heights.

Job Summary:

The Automotive General Manager oversees all dealership operations, including new & used car sales, service, parts, and finance. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in the automotive industry and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate managers and staff

Oversee daily operations to meet sales objectives for new & used car departments as well as fixed ops and to ensure dealership efficiency and profitability.

Maintain high customer satisfaction dealership wide.

Develop marketing strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.

Recruit, train, and evaluate employees.

Qualifications:

Proven success in a managerial role.

Excellent decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of fixed and variable operations.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. Pay is salary Commission: $250,000-$350,000 Annual Range, based on experience & profitability.

• Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan upon hire, with company match after 1 year of employment.
• Accrued vacation at the rate of 3.33 hours per month/40 hours per year for years 1-2, years. 3-9 years 6.67 hours per month / 80 hours per year and 10 years 10 hours per month / 120 hours per year.
• Accrued sick leave at the standard Washington state required 1 hour per 40 hours worked.
