The Washington, D.C. office is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant with 3-5 years of experience supporting government officials, policy advisors, or attorneys. Experience working in Congressional or Executive Offices is a plus. This is a position supporting a collaborative team with exposure to multiple areas of law and policy.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Legal Executive Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, updating, and tracking Salesforce, business development documents, Excel spreadsheets, and contact lists to ensure our data is current and organized. You will monitor and manage email communications, schedules, and calendars with precision, coordinating with both internal teams and external clients to schedule meetings and organize events seamlessly. Your role will involve active participation in the business development team's weekly meetings, contributing to goal setting and strategic discussions. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting research related to client business development, providing valuable insights to support our growth initiatives. A key aspect of this position includes meeting and greeting clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You have 3-5 years of experience supporting government officials, policy advisors, or attorneys. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong writing and editing abilities, are essential. Critical thinking, organization, time management, and leadership skills are necessary for this role. You should have a solid background in logistics management and information and computer technology, with demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines. A well-organized, customer-oriented approach is crucial. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least three to five years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of CRM software Salesforce and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required.
