You'll play a crucial role in helping customers manage their energy consumption and reduce their environmental footprint through innovative solar and battery technologies.

Role Overview:

As an Energy Specialist, you will:

• Act as a trusted advisor to homeowners, guiding them through the selection, onboarding, and installation of solar and battery systems.
• Educate and assist customers in optimizing their energy usage post-installation.
• Lead with honesty and empathy, addressing customer concerns about the complexities and costs of battery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide seamless guidance through the sales and onboarding process, acting as a customer concierge.
• Learn about Distributed Energy Resources and aim to become a subject matter expert in grid-tied battery systems.
• Wear the consultant's hat, taking charge of customer needs and finding solutions to their challenges.
• Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions to ensure accurate pricing and actionable installation plans.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage customer relationships and ensure continuity in service.
• Deliver feedback to marketing and product teams to help refine customer offerings and enhance user experience.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in consulting, customer success, account management, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
• Strong communication, writing, and information-gathering skills.
• Comfort with numbers and the ability to quickly learn new technology.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all project documentation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, continually striving to deliver superior customer service.
• Motivation to meet and exceed performance targets.
• Skill in explaining complex technical issues in a straightforward and friendly manner.
