NeoPath Health, Inc. is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Near Arden, MN

NeoPath Health, Inc., a Minnesota based administrator of workplace medical services, is in search of a part-time Occupational Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for Boston Scientific - Maple Grove Occupational Health Clinic.

Position Summary:

Diagnose and treat worksite injuries and perform medical surveillance exams in accordance with organizational protocols and processes. Responsible for activities related to developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures to ensure that the company meets and complies with all applicable regulations pertaining to the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) measures within the organization. Provides for and delivers care to workers and worker populations within an occupational setting to assist ill and injured employees to reach maximum health and productivity.
Functions as a clinical case manager and coordinates an individual client's health care services across multiple systems from the onset of injury or illness to a safe return to work or an optimal alternative.Care is coordinated with a focus on achieving quality care delivered in a cost-effective manner.
Practices within the parameters of professional licensure to ensure consistency with legal, labor, regulatory and corporate requirements.

Job Duties

  • Diagnose and treat worksite injuries, provide detailed documentation of evaluation and treatment in a timely manner.
  • Perform medical surveillance exams as required by law and in accordance with company policies.
  • Direct observation and assessment of worksite/stations to ensure employee safety.
  • Identify trends for worksite injuries and medical surveillance exams and provide input for corrective action.
  • Promote employee wellbeing and presenteeism in the workplace.
  • Review and update medical protocols and procedures as requested by organizational leadership.
  • Promote the success of Occupational Health Services within the company by communicating effectively will all members of the team.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and employees on return-to-work issues including work restrictions, modified scheduling, and job accommodations.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • NP, or PA-C Licensure in MN.
  • Active DEA.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must possess computer skills - Excel, Word, Outlook Occupational recordkeeping system and EHR experience preferred.
This position is part-time, working two weekday shifts per week. No weekends or holidays.
