Accountant Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. In this role, you will work closely with our accounting manager and support the day-to-day financial operations of our company
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle accounts payable, including matching purchase orders and proof of receipt with invoices and posting in QuickBooks.
- Obtain appropriate approvals for non-PO invoices. (AP)
- Handle processing of employee expense reports. (AP)
- Manage monthly credit card transactions. (AP)
- Ensure proper coding of general ledger (GL) accounts. (AP)
- Execute weekly check runs. (AP)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies with vendors and procurement departments. (AP)
- Maintain vendor files and cultivate positive relationships by providing payment information and resolving concerns. (AP)
- Prepare weekly reports on vendor liabilities and purchase orders (PO). (AP)
- Assist with month-end closing activities. (AP)
- Process daily sales order requests (SOR) for both customers and non-customers. (AR)
- Issue billing statements as per occurrence and ensure accuracy. (AR)

Salary : $63,000 - $65,000
