We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, check out patients if necessary
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and update medical information in electronic health record using our computer system Medent
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience working in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred but not necessary, we will train
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00pm. We are not open nights or weekends and have major holidays off with pay. Come join our team!
