Our client is seeking a detail-oriented AOI Operator to join our team. The AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) Operator will be responsible for operating AOI equipment to inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronics assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate AOI equipment to inspect PCBs and electronic assemblies.
• Identify and report defects such as misaligned components, soldering issues, and other assembly defects.
• Review AOI inspection results and perform manual inspections as necessary.
• Maintain and calibrate AOI equipment according to company procedures.
• Document inspection results and maintain records of inspected items.
• Communicate with the production team to address any identified issues.
• Follow all safety and quality guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and PCB assembly processes is preferred.
• Attention to detail and good visual acuity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for operating AOI equipment and documenting results.
• Strong communication skills.

Work Environment:

• This position is typically performed in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
