HVAC Designer
Job Responsibilities:
Support: Collaborate closely with the Lead HVAC Engineer to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
Construction Documents: Produce accurate and detailed construction documents in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Technical Tasks: Conduct heating/cooling load calculations, perform site surveys, and contribute to the layout and sizing of ductwork and piping systems.
Analysis and Selection: Perform pressure loss calculations and assist in equipment selections to ensure optimal system performance.
Coordination: Work closely with architectural and structural teams to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly within overall building design.
Qualifications:
Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering (AS/Bachelor of Science).
Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, and Excel. Experience with REVIT MEP is advantageous.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
