NESCO Resource is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Rochester, NY
Pay Rate: $31.00-$32.00/hr
Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Type: Direct Hire
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and modifications of all production machinery ensuring uptime for all lens manufacturing business units.
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery in a timely manner
- Develop daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance schedule based on vendor suggestions to ensure maxim efficiency of machinery
- Be accountable for all machine parts and machinery maintenance schedules
- Support staff and peers through clear, professional and effective communication with machine and system vendors
- Accurately document work and troubleshooting processes, make recommendations for process improvements
- Comprehensive understanding of technical drawings and schematics
- Associate Degree in related technical field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years electrical and mechanical experience, required
- Experience in troubleshooting PLC equipment, preferred but not required
- Experience in automated computer-controlled equipment a plus
- Optical knowledge, desired
