Duties/Responsibilities
- Keep plant machinery available for use by inspecting, testing, and repairing non-functioning equipment.
- Completing preventative maintenance such as fluid changes, filter changes, repairing plant problems.
- Maintain equipment in functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections, repairing equipment failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing equipment damage.
- Verifies equipment serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
- Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and repair of forklifts and overhead crane systems.
- Starting pay is $22/hour ( $1.50 shift differential) and up based on experience
- Position will be on 2nd shift working M-Th from 3pm – 130am
- Must be able to work OT on Friday
- Temp to Hire opportunity with the company.
- 2 or more years' experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Must have experience performing mechanical repairs on industrial machinery.
- Experience working with 3 phase electrical is preferred.
- Welding experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
