Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Walking, kneeling, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. Use of hands, arms and eyes in handling products.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Must be able to work well with others. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with fellow employees and managers as well as the ability to read, add, subtract, multiply and divide to compute and understand customer pick tickets and pull orders.
- Must seek guidance and direction as needed and effectively perform duties following standardized methods and procedures set by company management.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Show the ability to recognize and deal with priorities on a consistent basis.
- Be willing to assume necessary responsibilities and challenges.
- Maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
- From time to time it may be necessary for the order picker to work with other employees in other departments to achieve desirable results.
- Attend monthly safety meetings.
