NESCO Resource is Hiring a Programmer Analyst Near East Liberty, OH

Essential Job FunctionsNesco has partnered with a growing company looking to add a Programmer Analyst to its team. This will be a contract opportunity for a Programmer Analyst with the following skills:
  • Create Detail Level Design for software development projects
  • Do system study / design for new projects development and for existing system enhancement
  • Code , test and debug new or modify existing programs according to specifications and to fulfill production requirements
  • Develop data integration and communication between systems
  • Build systems as per the detail design specification
  • Accomplish programming work on time and ensure project goals are met as per requirement
  • Develop test plan/scripts for system testing
  • Write technical program specifications; system/user documentation, and instruction manuals
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot system issues
  • Assure Total Quality control Management and programming standards
  • Provide end user testing, training and end to end (e2e) system integration testing
  • Support implementation of systems in to production environment
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety & environment rules and regulations
  • Experience in logistics and/or warehouse and/or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in logistics business vertical, specifically the automotive industry, is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly interactive environment
  • Excellent analytical, communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels in organization
Qualifications/Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related area of experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing complex applications on IBMi Platform (AS/400).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing/configuring/enhancing Manhattan PKMS System.
  • Expert level skills in RPG (Free Format), CL, ILE, Embedded SQL on AS/400 (ISeries).
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Supply Chain Systems.
  • Knowledge of .Net, C# is added advantage
  • Experience with iSeries environment including IBM High availability, iTera, Aldon, and MQ Series.
  • Experience in professional project management practices and PMP / Agile PM concepts are preferred.
  • Experience in SDLC methodology for information systems.
  • Experience in MS Office (Power point, Excel, Word) and Visio.
