Nesco Resource is working with a client looking for a Project Coordinator III: Summary Of FunctionsAs a Project Coordinator 3, you will play a crucial role in supporting multiple/complex projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion while training, utilizing, and mentoring junior project coordinators and assistants. Primary FunctionsRoles & Responsibilities:
Project Coordination/Administrative Support:
Confidently coordinate and oversee the execution of all the coordination of project activities, including submitting RFIs, submittals, and various correspondence from the initiation to completion of multiple projects simultaneously Provide general administrative support to team including data entry, filing, and record-keeping. Prepare reports and updates for project managers/stakeholders Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders Mentor and guide junior project coordinators/assistants
Time Entry:
Entry/approval of Time for assigned projects/personnel.
New Hire Paperwork:
File and submission of new hire paperwork
OCIP Paperwork:
Coordinating and completing OCIP Paperwork
Document Management:
Organize and maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, correspondence, and photos. Ensure all project documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible to team members.
Communication Support:
Facilitate communication between project team members Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes as required. Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and presentations related to project progress.
Quality Assurance:
Support quality control processes by ensuring documentation and filing of required items are completed accurately Assist in conducting inspections and audits of documentation in project files to verify work quality and adherence to safety regulations are up to par for close-out submissions Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Competencies And AbilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in project management or electrical engineering is a plus. Previous experience in a similar role within the electrical contracting or construction industry preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
