Job Description :
Safety Support Specialist will provide site specific safety support to the Safety team. Qualified candidates should proficient in Microsoft office (Word and Excel, PowerPoint ) familiarity with databases, good communication skills, and detail oriented.
Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Filing (Workers Comp, audits, etc)
- Coordinating safety events
- Shoe Truck
- Hearing Tests
- External Training
- Dust and Noise sampling
- SDS and site chemical audit
- Entering of Safety Management Systems into ETQ (Another major undertaking)
- Tracking of audit compliance
- LOTO Audits (Line and Verification)
- Safety Orientation Support
- Reviews hoist inspections for all lines daily
- Notifies appropriate personnel of issues and tracks corrective action
- Enters safety incident data for monthly reporting, including BBS
- M-F 7 : 30am to 4 : 30pm
