New England Sports Network (NESN) is seeking a dynamic IT Infrastructure Intern to join our IT team. This internship will involve a critical project focused on migrating data storage solutions from local servers to cloud-based services. The intern will gain practical experience in cloud technologies, data migration processes, and overall IT infrastructure management.
Duration: Part-time with flexibility, 240 hours totalEssential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist in the migration of user data from on-premise data storage to cloud-based platforms using migration tools.
• Monitor and report on the migration process, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Provide support and troubleshooting during and after the data migration.
• Collaborate with IT team members to support other IT-related tasks and projects.
• Document processes and provide feedback on project challenges and successes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of data management and cloud storage solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Previous experience with data migration tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of general IT support and system administration, is a plus.
