Job Title: Store Manager

Nest Interior Design is a full-service interior design and remodeling firm, with a retail storefront that features an exclusive sampling of American-made furniture, lighting, pillows, home decor, and a mix of vintage items- all of which are curated by our experienced team with an eye for quality, style, and timeless proportions.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our online retail sales and our bricks-and-mortar storefront in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, as well as other key responsibilities to assist in our interior design studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability.

Store Oversight

• Implement and maintain high standards of customer service by creating a positive and welcoming experience for everyone who walks in the door
• Customer interaction in bricks-and-mortar location, helping guests find what they’re looking for and providing opportunities for cross-selling of service offerings. This will include recurring client outreach and communication.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently
• Order fulfillment of all online sales, including packaging orders for shipment, customer communication and UPS/Post Office package drop-offs
• Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels
• Research and concept development for new, in-store product, based on industry and seasonal trends
• Store product order placement and tracking with key vendors to fulfill orders and keep the storefront looking fresh
• Unpacking and tagging of incoming orders, including damage claim processing as needed
• Event prep and supplies coordination
• Ongoing maintenance of a clean and organized store environment (i.e. dusting, vacuuming, etc) and supplies management

Interior Design Studio

• Recurring client outreach and communication
• Delivery coordination and warehouse communication management
• Project installations at client homes with lead designer, including product prep and execution
• Assistance with sample requests, concept board development and product sourcing, in advance of client meetings
• Ongoing maintenance (i.e. keeping the showroom and sample library organized) and supplies management

Team Support

• Team management and populating store schedule
• Team event creation and planning

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of guest-facing sales and/or retail experience
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
• Experience visualizing, executing and rotating store displays
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to effectively manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
• Ability to work at least one Saturday per month, along with occasional evenings for Nest and Sun Prairie citywide events
• We're seeking someone who can commit to working up to 30-35 hours / week
• Knowledge of Shopify Point-of-Sale is a plus!
• Experience with Mac and Mac-based platforms

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
