Job Responsibilities
- Transcribing depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to legal terminology and grammar guidelines.
- Processing audio recordings according to specific style guides to produce verbatim transcripts.
- Flexibility to set your own schedule.
- Guidance and support from our in-office team.
- Work available 24/7/365 to accommodate various schedules, including weekends.
- Experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
- Strong listening skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
- Remote collaboration capabilities.
- Typing proficiency with high speed and accuracy.
- Ability to handle extreme audio/text content.
- Clear background check.
- Familiarity with legal terminology.
- Court reporting students may also apply (excluding Massachusetts and California residents).
- High-speed internet.
- Computer or laptop.
- Noise-canceling quality headphones.
- Windows 10 (Check through 'winver' command).
- Updated antivirus program (except Webroot).
- Infinity Foot Pedal (recommended).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
