ResponsibilitiesAs a transcriptionist for VIQ Solutions, your role will involve transcribing depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with precision and attention to detail. It is essential to have a good command of legal terminology and excellent grammar skills. Your tasks will include processing audio recordings as per style guides to create accurate and verbatim transcripts.

Skills Required

• Experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is a must.
• Strong listening skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in literacy, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
• Comfortable collaborating remotely and typing accurately and swiftly.
• Ability to handle challenging audio/text content.
• Pass a background check and familiarity with legal terminology.
• Court reporting students are welcome to apply (excluding Massachusetts and California residents).
