Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector I to perform entry-level inspections and repetitive tasks associated with visual inspections and basic functional testing. The successful candidate will ensure that company products meet internal and external specifications through a variety of routine and non-routine inspections. This role involves using microscopes, calipers, and micrometers, and will require performing 10-15 different inspection types.
Position Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications.
• Perform PCI activities for NA Notifications at the US Regional Service Center as needed.
• Adhere to procedural requirements to maintain compliance with applicable Quality System Regulations (i.e., cGMP compliance).
• Support the paper document archival process, including preparation of pallets for shipment to R4 and scanning documents for electronic archival in Agile.
• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (Client) as required.
• Support Non-Conformance (NC) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) activities as needed.
• Participate in special projects as they arise.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSWorks closely with quality assurance teams and other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support overall quality management processes.
Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required; AA or Technical Degree preferred.
• Basic computer skills to access and document information.
• Basic written and oral communication skills to understand instructions and read work instructions and engineering drawings.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA regulatory standards preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have adequate manual dexterity for operating standard office equipment.
• Ability to perform essential job functions in an office environment, including long periods of sitting and occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs.

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis.
