Position: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg/TeleLocation: Richland, WA
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x12hr.
Summary
- We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (Med Surg/Tele) to join our dynamic healthcare team.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- As a Registered Nurse (Med Surg/Tele), you will be responsible for managing and coordinating patient care on our medical-surgical and telemetry units, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' conditions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, perform physical assessments, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to changes in patients' conditions and intervene as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of one year of experience in medical-surgical nursing; experience in telemetry/step-down units preferred.
- BLS
- RN license (Compact or WA license)
