Shift Timing: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
Meal Break: 30 minutes
Contract Duration: 9 weeks
Hours per Week: Guaranteed 32 hours per week
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Gettysburg, PA. This position is ideal for an experienced RN who is comfortable working the night shift. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their well-being, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the best possible outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Monitor patients' vital signs and manage medications.
Assist in diagnostic tests, procedures, and patient care activities.
Document patient information accurately and timely.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health conditions.
Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
QualificationsValid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Ability to work effectively during night shifts.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
