Position Description: Associate Scientist
Factor Bioscience is seeking an exceptional candidate to join our Translational Science team in Cambridge, MA. This position is full-time and will support the development of advanced mRNA and cell-based medicines. In this role, successful candidates will support the development of next-generation cell therapies for the treatment of a large variety of illnesses, including cancer, blood disorders, neurological conditions, and/or monogenic diseases.
Job Summary:
Successful candidates will be responsible for performing daily lab activities, including assistance with various cell line development procedures, adherence to a defined Quality Management System, proper design and execution of scientific experiments, as well as effective interpretation and communication of experimental findings. Potential candidates must be willing to learn and employ a broad range of experimental techniques. Furthermore, this position requires enthusiasm, passion, self-motivation, excellent problem-solving skills, a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
