Technical Program Manager (in Software Development and Release)
Work Location (Onsite, Hybrid, Remote): Onsite – Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 4 months
Job Description:
- Minimum 5 years in commercial software development and release management experience (5 - 7 years) as a Technical Program Manager.
- Experience in managing projects throughout the entire SDLC, including investigation, design, planning, execution and delivering products to market on schedule.
- Drive content, schedule and overall delivery of the program and set it up for successful delivery at high quality across R&D cross functional teams - software engineering, quality assurance, DevOps, product management, documentation and the field
- Make trade-offs and timely decisions, drive accountability for delivery and ensure that the objectives of the program are met.
- Solid project and technical judgment; ability to influence multiple business organizations.
- Strong team and customer focus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Jira / Confluence cloud expertise
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Commercial software development and release management.
- Emphasis on the COMMERCIAL customers experience and not with internal projects.
- This role will be release heavy so ideal candidate should have primarily release management experience.
- Can hit the ground running and drive a release on their own – someone who can walk in the door and understand and work with JIRA (dashboards)
- Helpful, not required: Agile certification, SCRUM Master in Release
