Position Overview: As a Project Quality Manager Operations (PQMO) at VolvoGroup, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality assurance throughout our projects. Collaborating closely with the project team and Chief Project Manager, you will lead quality activities across the full cross-functional scope of each project, focusing on product quality leadership and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Project Assurance Plan to ensure adherence to quality procedures and achievement of project targets.
• Lead the development and execution of the Quality Tool Plan, including critical activities such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Capability Studies.
• Assess, document, and manage project risks and issues related to quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Team to define and achieve quality and environmental targets.
• Ensure effective use of project management processes to optimize quality outcomes.
• Identify and escalate challenges to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders, facilitating timely resolution.
• Support and coach the project management team in applying quality tools and methods effectively.
• Report project quality status at key milestones and represent the department in cross-functional quality forums.
• Document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in quality processes.

• QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature)
• Problem Solving effectiveness
• Risk management effectiveness
• First Time Through (FTT) quality performance
• Project Product Audit outcomes
• Fault Frequency One (FFO) targets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) recognized by PMI.
• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Management within the Automotive or Heavy Equipment Industry.
