We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer Senior Level to join our onsite team in San Antonio, TX. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network systems to meet the operational requirements of the organization. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network systems to meet the operational requirements of the organization. Create detailed network designs aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze and monitor network traffic to optimize network performance. Make necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Plan and execute hardware and software upgrades to maintain the integrity and performance of network systems. Ensure compatibility and minimal disruption during upgrades.
• Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats. Configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for network-related issues. Diagnose and resolve complex network problems to ensure continuous network availability.
• Continuously monitor network systems to detect and address issues proactively. Use network monitoring tools to track performance metrics and identify potential problems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and processes. Prepare regular reports on network performance, incidents, and changes to inform stakeholders.
• Conduct capacity planning to ensure network systems can accommodate current and future demands. Make recommendations for infrastructure
• Work closely with other IT teams, departments, and stakeholders to coordinate network-related activities. Ensure alignment with overall IT and business
• Ensure network systems comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Implement and enforce policies to maintain compliance.
• Manage relationships with network hardware and software vendors. Coordinate with vendors for support, procurement, and maintenance services.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for network systems to ensure business continuity in the event of a network failure or other disruptive incidents.
• Stay updated with the latest network technologies and trends. Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve network infrastructure and services.

Required

• IAT II: Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Professional level certificate for supported technology as approved by the COR.
• Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
• Bachelors degree and/or equivalency.
• Public Trust or Secret Clearance

Preferred

• Current or past DHA support experience preferred
• Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
