Purpose of Position
The Account Executive is a trusted consultative partner to NetJets' Owners. The Account Executive leverages their knowledge of the NetJets program along with a detailed understanding of their Owner's needs in order to retain business, sell new aircraft, and increase flight hours flown.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Retains business, sells new aircraft, and increases flight hours flown. Ensures that results are attained, if not exceeded.
Monitors economic trends, Owner flight history, and NetJets' fleet plan to proactively offer Owner solutions for trading, adding-on and graduating into shares.
Penetrates Owner organizations and unearths referral opportunities. Effectively manages timelines to address upcoming renewals and card expirations.
Uses Salesforce.com to effectively track the progress of all opportunities.
Entirely familiar with the NetJets program and its interworking's (i.e. billing, international travel, booking, etc.) and seeks detailed program explanations from internal experts.
Proficient in the technical aspects of aircraft and aviation and keeps abreast of new product offerings and updates to internal policies.
Regularly communicates with the Owner via phone, e-mail, and in-person meetings to obtain feedback. Uses the feedback to lead discussions with internal team members to ensure Owner's remain loyal to NetJets.
Stays informed of changes to Owner and Owner's industry and address any changes with a solution-based approach. Uses strategies introduced through internal sales training to build consensus of NetJets' value throughout multiple levels of Owner organizations.
Proactively monitors Owner flight activity to minimize and resolve service disruptions, communicate and champion NetJets' value through service victories and upgrades.
Through research, analysis, and building of relationships, obtains a detailed understanding of the Owner's needs and articulates how such needs and goals are achieved by NetJets products and services.
Effectively communicates any changes regarding the NetJets program to Owners. Communicates to Owners about all regional Owner events and manages Owner attendance.
