The Senior Operations Analysis Manager is a crucial member of the operations team, supporting the Chief Operating Officer by providing essential financial analysis, tracking operational metrics, and documenting ROI for strategic initiatives. This role demands a strategic thinker with robust analytical skills and a solid understanding of finance and operations management.
Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Execute sophisticated financial modeling to support decision-making; analyze financial data to identify trends and project future implications, providing actionable insights to optimize performance.
  • Operational Metrics: Oversee the monitoring and reporting of key operational metrics. Develop and manage dashboards and reports that deliver accurate and timely data to senior leadership.
  • ROI Documentation: Evaluate and document the return on investment (ROI) for significant projects and initiatives, producing detailed reports that outline costs, benefits, and impacts on operations.
  • Operational Framework Oversight: Manage the development and implementation of operational frameworks to support the organization’s objectives, ensuring these are efficient, scalable, and adhere to industry best practices.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and synchronization toward agreed-upon objectives, managing key projects to completion within time and budget constraints.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within operations. Utilize data correlation skills to review results and trends for better decision-making.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work effectively across the organization at all levels to bring together diverse teams, fostering an environment of teamwork and ensuring that all departments are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • OKRs and KPIs Adherence: Understand and ensure adherence to the organization’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), integrating these metrics to drive performance and strategic alignment.
  • Capital and Operational Efficiency: Work on initiatives to enhance the efficiency and optimization of capital and operational investments, ensuring resources are utilized effectively to maximize return and achieve organizational goals.
  • Collaboration with Financial Operations: Work collaboratively with the Financial Operations team to ensure that all operational data is managed from a single source of truth, enhancing data integrity and consistency across the organization.
QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and synthesize large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and attention to detail.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience in a senior role reporting directly to C-suite executives.
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
