HR Generalist to join our People Operations Team.
Position Overview : As an HR Generalist at Lifeline of Ohio, you will play a crucial role in ensuring we are providing ample support to both administrative and clinical staff members.
We are seeking an experienced professional who excels in payroll management, benefits administration, and ideally has previous experience using Paylocity software.
This position is perfect for someone who loves the detailed work of comp & bens, but also wants opportunities to work on strategic change management initiatives! Our ideal candidate is someone who: - loves to 'dig in' and figure out new systems & processes

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position with a Hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week, in-office). This position reports to the Manager of People Operations & Organizational Development.

Responsibilities : Payroll & Compensation- - Prepare bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Monitor compliance with compensation and overtime policies, review associate timecards for accuracy, and communicate issues with associates and managers.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Create or run standard or custom payroll reports and distribute as necessary.
- Work with the Finance team to ensure accurate payroll, deductions, and reimbursements.
Benefits Administration- - Administer various employee benefits programs, including healthcare, FSA/HSA accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and 401(k).
- Manage and track leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD, Paid Family Leave) in partnership with HR team and management, to include team member accommodations, paperwork, communications, etc.
- Manage open enrollment processes, ensuring accurate and timely communication to employees.
- Lead the charge to ensure benefits set up and administration is working properly in the HRIS and vendors receive proper benefits enrollment and termination information.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees' benefit-related inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues.
- Assist with wellness related initiatives, such as evangelizing our new family health platform and proposing creative ways to engage our employees in wellness.
Other HR Generalist Responsibilities- - Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Answer and respond daily to employee questions, needs, or concerns that come through the HR email inbox.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to support various HR projects and initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience running payroll for 100 employees a big plus!
- Proficiency in using Paylocity software a big plus!
- Experience working with clinical (medical/hospital) staff a plus!
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and best practices
- Must be proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications, and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology including internet, Microsoft Outlook and email applications
