Neurology Pain Management is Hiring a Medical Office Manager Near Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

- Must be Proficient in BILLINga nd Insurance ISSUes

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise staff, including nurses and medical administrative support personnel
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Coordinate patient scheduling, including appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Handle billing and financial management tasks, including insurance claims processing and payment collection
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes
- Implement utilization management strategies to maximize resource allocation and minimize waste
- Stay up-to-date with medical terminology, procedures, and best practices in order to provide accurate guidance and support

Skills:

- Strong background in medical office management, with a focus on critical care settings
- Knowledge of managed care principles and practices
- Familiarity with financial management in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation requirements
- Experience in utilization management to optimize resource allocation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively lead a team and foster a positive work environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
