Summary of the position The Medical Assistant participates in the delivery of excellent family practice and pediatric care in an ambulatory clinic setting with an emphasis on the prevention of disease; preparation of the patient for examination and/or procedures; administers medications under direction of provider; performs in office lab procedures and phlebotomy on pediatric and adult patients; sterilizes instruments and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. This will include actively participating and supporting primary clinical teams with these efforts. This position is full-time and located in Carson City, NV. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package with paid time off and paid holidays. Requirements of the position
- High school diploma or general education equivalent (GED).
- Certification of completion of Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
