Nevados is a distributed organization with many team members working remotely, while other roles require an in office and on-site presence. Position Overview
Nevados is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager responsible for client and market development. In this role, you will work closely with the internal sales and executive teams to develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders and proactively pursue new clients and opportunities. This role requires experience in the field of solar project development and construction to ensure we are effectively supporting clients from initial engagement through the execution phase. Nevados is a small and dedicated team that has developed differentiated technology which enables a host of benefits for solar power plant developers and owners. As a key externally facing team member you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to a public facing strategy for a fast-growing and exciting organization.
Responsibilities
    • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders for targeted market segments.
    • Create and manage the network of developers, EPCs and engineers required to close deals.
    • Manage a key account base to achieve annual sales targets.
    • Establish meaningful KPI's that forward the company core values and goals.
    • Work with clients, internal colleagues, and external resources to ensure optimal projects including civil grading analysis, layout optimization, and energy yield assessment.
    • Attend and present at industry events to proactively pursue clients and build the Nevados brand.
    • Participate in the company's marketing efforts including webinars, white papers, articles, interviews, presentations, brochures, etc.
    • Work closely with the VP of Business Development and others on the team to develop and manage strategy and associated budgets.
Qualifications
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the fields of project development, construction, pre-construction, estimation, or equivalent in the solar industry.
    • 5 years of experience in a customer facing role.
$120,000 - $180,000 a year
Actual base salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
