Position HR113: Business Intelligence and Market Analyst
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Company Description Nevakar is a privately-held, specialty pharmaceutical company committed to developing innovative products in the injectable and ophthalmic space. The company is dedicated to the development of enhanced products that address unmet clinical and/or commercial needs of current FDA approved molecules, through intensive R&D and clinical efforts. Nevakar’s drug repositioning efforts are focused on the design and development of 1) improved formulation, 2) functional packaging, 3) novel drug delivery approaches, and 4) regulatory and clinical strategies. Resulting new and repositioned products are expected to provide patient-centric benefits while ensuring incremental value proposition for the healthcare system. These new products with proprietary enhancements are filed with the FDA, primarily under the 505(b)(2) regulatory pathway.
Position Summary
The Business Intelligence and Market Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and interpreting market trends and data to provide actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions. This role involves a deep understanding of injectable drug products, 503B compounding that occurs in the hospital setting, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior. The Market Analyst works closely with product development teams to support the company’s growth objectives and enhance market positioning. The ideal candidate is in one of two categories: Hospital pharmacist with 503B experience in compounding products or in a clinical field such as ICU, critical care, surgery or oncology—with a desire to enter the pharma world in an entry level position, hoping to get into a marketing or commercial operations career.

Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA (or other advanced degree) is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech product management experience required.
A mix of generic and branded pharmaceutical product experience is preferred.
Branded 505(b)(2) experience with oncology and hospital injectable products is preferred.
Strong organization, prioritization and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently, with a sense of urgency and a strong attention to detail
Ability to lead through influence across functional lines
Results-oriented, high energy self-starter with high level of personal initiative and an attitude of continuous improvement.
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as effective interpersonal skills.
Adept in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
