neverthirst is Hiring an Office Manager Near Birmingham, AL

Overview:

This key role is responsible for the day-to-day operations and staff administrative support in the neverthirst office. This administrative and support role is not a typical sit at the front desk only role. The ideal candidate is a people person that also enjoys helping in a wide variety of tangible ways and working on essential tasks that support the overall functioning of the office. The role requires competency in customer service, organization, and planning. This role will work under the leadership of the Chief Financial Officer.

Core Role Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exemplary customer service towards guests and donors
  • Manage all mailing needs primarily focused on donor gratitude
  • Manage the merchandise closet including fulfillment and inventory management
  • Maintain stock of necessary supplies in the office supply closet and breakroom
  • Perform light cleaning duties in office common areas
  • Coordinate all maintenance or operational needs and issues with the appropriate vendor
  • Recruit and manage volunteers for office projects as needed
  • Assist the Impact Reporting Coordinator with impact report creation and distribution
  • Manage travel for the Development Team
  • Coordinate corporate partner events including reserving venues, distributing promotional materials, purchasing and distributing prizes, etc.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, etc.
  • Recognize and contribute to the value of our culture
  • Ability to solve problems and handle change well
  • Take on tasks that are not overtly part of the job description
  • Own the role and operate autonomously to deliver results
