New Albany Smiles is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Albany, OH

Job Summary:

We are seeking a wonderful, experienced full-time Dental Assistant to become part of our friendly, knowledgeable team. We are looking for candidates that have back and front office experience, as well as knowledge of Dentrix. Our beautiful facility provides the highest quality of dentistry and customer care in our busy upscale office. If you have found that you genuinely care about patients, are detail oriented, reliable, have great communication skills, then we would like to speak with you!

Essential Duties:

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Able to quickly build relationships and establish trust with patients
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Maintain an outgoing, friendly, and professional attitude with patients and team members
  • Coordinate with doctor team about diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Clean and sterilize instruments, in operatory and lab
  • Keep up to date on OSHA regulations
  • Prepare impressions and/or models for the lab
  • Assist with restoration placement
  • Check that treatment rooms are ready, stocked, and clean at the beginning of each appointment
  • Accurately chart all procedures, record date, and services rendered
  • Greet patients
  • Establishes and maintains updated patient demographics

  • Treatment Plans

  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

  • One (1) year of Dental experience required
  • Dentrix
  • Radiology Certification

OFFICE HOURS: Monday - Thursday 8a - 5p and Friday 8a - 4p

Our office works four days per week alternating Mondays and Fridays.
