POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sound Engineer is responsible for recording, mixing, and editing music and audio during worship services, funerals, rental events, and special events. The sound engineer will set up, troubleshoot, and operate sound equipment in worship, recordings, funerals, and post-productions to ensure optimal sound quality in the house, on our live broadcast, and in recordings. Additionally, they will be responsible for training other media team members on the essentials for operating equipment and mixing sound during worship. The sound engineer will be an active and essential media team member and demonstrate a solid understanding of industry-standard practices and techniques. The incumbent will be familiar with and embrace the New Covenant Church of Philadelphia's vision, mission, and values. They are expected to model Christian character, have a heart for ministry, and be a regular attendee who is available and willing to serve.

HOURS: Sunday Mornings, Tuesdays & Thursdays: 20-25 hours/week, non-exempt.
Flexibility for special events and funerals on weekdays and weekends is required.
