Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for young children.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
- Conduct standardized assessments to track student progress
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student development
- Implement behavior management strategies effectively
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
-Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: ECE Associates degree or Preschool CDA
- Must be at least 18 years of age
-Strong classroom management skills
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a licensed child care center
- 1 year of Pre-K teaching experience is highly desired
- Good health and consistent attendance
- Self-motivated and driven to provide the best for our young learners
- Possession of a Fingerprint Clearance Card and TB test (or ability to obtain them quickly)
- Proficiency in curriculum development for preschool-aged children
- Experience in early intervention techniques
- Knowledge of lesson planning and execution
- Familiarity with standardized kindergarten readiness skills.
