Under general administrative direction of the Institute on Disability Director, design, develop, and supervise implementation of research projects of major importance and scope. This position is based out of Concord, but will have an option to work remote as per UNH COVID protocols. For out of state employees occasional visits to NH will be required. Be responsible for the planning, development, design, supervision, and implementation of all service and related research activities for assigned (existing) and new projects. Be responsible for directing and overseeing activities to achieve the Living Well grant deliverables including work with internal and external project team members. Manage and conduct grant activities including Community Monitoring and Community Capacity Building efforts as outlined in the Living Well grant work plan. Develop new grants/programs, review current programs, and establish communications channels for collaborative research efforts. Develop and/or negotiate contracts and administer and supervise the allocations of grant and contract resources according to appropriate grant sponsor and college/university regulations, including responsibility for required reports. Monitor budget to actual spending to assure success. Prepare and submit project summary reports and related required reports and documentation. Manage project work plans, including tracking deliverables, coordinating informationwith project sponsor including coordination with subcontractors and UNH/USNH. Hire, train, evaluate and supervise current and additional approved professional and program support staff needed to implement projects.Job Duties (in order of importance) - Grant and Project Management (60%) - Project and Service Planning (25%) - Supervision and Coaching (15%) Experience working in disability policy and services in a leadership role Experience with state or federal agency staff Partnerships and established relationships disability-specific partners and providers Knowledge of NHs disability service system Project work focused on community living, workforce development, and/or employment Knowledge of state, federal, and university reporting structures Supervisory experience Masters degree and or advanced degree
