Job description
New England Wire Products is currently seeking Manufacturing Quality Control Inspectors on 1st Shift and 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team in a Quality Assurance role. You'll be responsible for quality testing of part and finished products to ensure product and package integrity in accordance with standard operating procedures. We're seeking team oriented individuals who have a keen eye for the details and have a passion for ensuring the quality of their work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct QC testing with accuracy and integrity
- Aware of and comply with Company Quality Management System & Policy as well as Quality Goals
- Interface with other departments in the execution of duties to ensure the orderly flow of materials and information
- Provide evaluation, constructive feedback and leadership of internal and external engineering, manufacturing, or service documentation
- Working with Machine Operators to learn the machines and ensure accurate parts are being produced
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/equivalent; Associate's Degree or Technical College Degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Quality Control experience or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed
- Must have strong problem solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under stressful situations
- Ability to visually identify and recognize material, part, and product defects
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Able to read and understand engineering drawing and read calipers
Job Type: Full-time, On-Site Only
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
