Responsibilities:
- Perform corrosion inspections on buses and identify areas of concern
- Conduct tests and analyses to determine the root causes of corrosion problems
- Develop and implement corrosion prevention strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize corrosion prevention methods in the manufacturing process
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to corrosion prevention
- Maintain accurate documentation of corrosion prevention activities and findings
- Provide technical assistance and training to production teams on corrosion prevention best practices
- Recommend and implement improvements to corrosion prevention processes and technologies
- Stay current with advancements in corrosion prevention techniques and technologies
- Prior experience as a Corrosion Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of corrosion prevention methods and techniques
- Experience in conducting corrosion inspections and tests
- Ability to analyze data and identify root causes of corrosion issues
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to corrosion prevention
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of automotive or heavy-duty manufacturing processes is a plus
