The primary responsibility of a Housekeeper Lead is to ensure general cleanliness of the New Freedom facility and to act as the Lead, helping the Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and guide the work of the Housekeeper staff. Housekeeping performs routine cleaning of all common areas in the facility and ensures cleaning and sanitation requirements are maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Routine daily cleaning and sanitation of Front Lobby
• Keep all common areas clean and tidy (sitting areas, vending areas, hallways etc.)
• Vacuum all floors and hallways
• Clean and disinfect elevators, common areas, rooms, bathrooms, offices, etc.
• Wash, dry, and fold all towels and linens
• Fill and deliver bedding request/linen exchange orders
• Pick up, wash, dry, and deliver Member’s personal laundry
• Clean and prepare empty rooms for incoming members
• Get beds ready with clean linens after discharges
• Act as a Lead in providing ongoing training, support, and guidance to Housekeeper staff
• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor with monitoring and addressing Housekeeper performance metrics and expectations
• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor with ensuring quality assurance, department standards and objectives, and collaboration with other leaders and departments
• Act as back-up to the Housekeeping Supervisor, ensuring that all service deliverables and standards of the Housekeeping department are met and maintained in an effective manner
• Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor with maintaining department supplies and with maintaining vendor/supplier relationships
• In addition, all other duties as assigned
