Liberty House, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a part-time Office Assistant. Liberty House helps homeless and struggling Veterans by connecting them to available resources and providing a safe, substance-free transitional house. Our mission is to remember, honor, and support our veterans.

The Office Assistant is often the first contact that Veterans, donors, and various visitors will encounter at Liberty House. The first impression, and all interactions after that, should be professional and demonstrate understanding and empathy to those seeking services.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (35 hours per week).

Duties:

· Act as the first line of contact for Veterans, donors, external stakeholders, and/or the general public seeking assistance.

· Answer phones and greet incoming visitors.

· Perform other administrative duties as required.

· Manage social media presence and help with fundraisers.

Requirements

· A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED is required; Associates or additional education is preferred.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· Basic knowledge and understanding of the complexities of working with alcohol/drug recovery and issues specific to the homeless Veteran population, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of various software programs, including MS Office Suite.
