Position Information New Hanover County is looking for a
Custodian to join the Facilities Management Department. Responsibilities for this role include:
- Cleaning floors and stairwells, entryways, hallways, offices, and break rooms
- Cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, and restocking of restrooms
- Removing and disposing of trash
- Monitoring/reporting equipment breakdowns and maintenance needs of facility

Hours: Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 8:30 pm. .Building location assignment may vary depending on the needs of the department. Some shifts include evenings and weekends.

Full-time, non-exempt Salary Information: The hiring salary for this position is

Qualifications Required Education and Experience: - Valid North Carolina Driver's License & good driving record is required.
- Education through the 8th grade and 1 year of custodial experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
