Fine Dinning Restaurant in Washington DC with American Contemporary cuisine is looking for a server full / part time. Restaurant is in Michelin Guide Washington DC 2023. Previous Server experience is required.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests in a fine dining setting
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate order delivery
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Set up and break down dining areas before and after service
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with culinary terminology and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and payment processing
