Position Location: Ontario, California
Role SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist position will perform day-to-day financial transactions as it pertains to accounts payable, researching/resolving discrepancies, and reconciling accounts.
Position Focus & Opportunity
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording of accounts payable data.
- Process incoming invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that invoices are accounted for and properly posted.
- Facilitate payment of payables by requesting Statements and communicating with vendors/suppliers.
- Prepare monthly/weekly vendor reporting packages and work with the vendors to resolve any issues.
- Research and resolve discrepancies by communicating not only with NIR customer service but also with outside vendors/suppliers.
- Assist in gathering data for internal and external auditors.
- Other Duties as assigned.
- 3 years of demonstrated accounting experience
- Experience in computer data entry
- Ability to learn various Company software packages
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Strong work ethic and works well independently
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize work, and communicate well with others

Pay Transparency: The starting hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $24-$27 per hour. Other rewards may include quarterly bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance. New-Indy provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). Please note the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position and assumes a rate based on location and experience.
