We hire direct support professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with daily living activities in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities Of a Direct Support Professional
- Assist and supervise in activities of daily living skills
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication.
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with transportation
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
- Data entry using Therap (EHR)
- Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.
- HS diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license in good standing & must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
- Strong communication skills
Position DetailsLocation: Toms River County: Ocean
Hours Per Work Week: 40 Weekly Work Schedule: Tues 2:30p-20:30p, Wed 2:30p-11:30p, Thurs 2:30p-10:30p, Fri 2:30p-11:30p & Sat 4:30p-10:30p
Other shifts are available at this location.
